Why More Booklets?

With all of the published disciple making resources available today, why did you write these booklets? Great question! I wrestled with this for over a year, before I finally bit the bullet and began to write these booklets.

Here are the reasons:

1) Ability to Improve and Customize, With a published booklet I am locked in. For a given booklet, if there is a section that is weak or may even include questionable content, I have to try to explain it away. With these DM booklets I have the flexibility to continually make improvements and SO DO YOU. Once you download the file, it is yours. Whenever you or I come across “good stuff” we can update any section to include the new concepts.

2) A Focus on Looking into the Text, What does the Bible say? Each lesson contains numerous passages of Scripture, to foster a broader comprehension of Scripture.

3) The Integration of a Disciple Maker Assignment, I have been part of a ton of Bible studies, but for many, the focus was solely on knowledge transfer. The goal here is life change, and becoming equipped to disciple others. This requires some mechanism of weekly accountability to actually obey and share. The Disciple Maker Assignment in each DM Series section is designed to foster an outreach mindset.
